Cloddish Sans

This is a funky Sans Serif typeface I created a couple of years ago. I was influenced both by popular, standard sans serif fonts like Univers, Futura, and Helvetica, as well as the gorgeous hand-painted signage at my local supermarkets. I aimed to make a sans serif that was both thick and bold but also quirky and featuring a bit more personality and uniqueness. Following many iterations of the letterforms on paper, I built the final letterforms and type specimen in Illustrator.
